5 stars! Had a 5kW solar panel system installed in early 2019. Did my research and got quotes from a couple of places. Bright Earth offered great value and good quality brands for both panel and inverters. Dean (owner) was helpful and customer service was great. Minor mix up on installation was resolved promptly by Dean and my system is running well. Would highly recommend going with Bright Earth if thinking of Solar.

Installer listened to what I needed and quoted accordingly. I already had an Enphase system and wanted to add more panels. It took less than 2 weeks from the initial point of contact to the system being fully installed. Very happy with the work done installing a 6.6kW solar system for my house with has terracotta roof tiles. As an ex-engineer, I had done a lot of research into solar, and knew what I wanted.
From the moment I enquired, Dean contacted me the same day to get the details and got the quote out the next day, with a choice of tier 1 panels. Dean was very quick to answer any questions and make the minor modifications requested.
The quoted price was very competitive for the top-tier equipment (Q-cells/Fronius) that I chose. I was pleasantly surprised that installation date was able to be set about a fortnight from the go-ahead (note: it was the middle of winter so not the busy season).
On installation day, the installer Joshua was sure to check and measure everything beforehand. Joshua recommended the inverter be placed in the garage where it was cool and be the most efficient. They handled all the extra wiring at no charge. This gave me a very positive impression that these guys knew what they were doing and cared about the quality of their work. A typical solar installer would have left it outside next to the meter, the easiest place to install it, but where it would be hot in Summer and worked poorly.
The installation was very smooth and efficient, and the workmen friendly and courteous. They had no problems handling the terracotta roof. On completion, they took the time to explain the monitoring (Fronius smart meter). And everything is working now. It was hard to choose a solar installer in this crowded market, and to be honest I tried Bright Earth simply because their office is close to my house. Their friendly receptionist and quick feedback from Dean convinced me to give them a go, and at the moment, I couldn’t be happier.
