Bright Earth Electrical are proud to announce we are growing as a business, relocating to a new warehouse which is twice the size of our previous one.
Committing to the demand for solar energy
With the continuing development of solar power, and our strong belief that renewable energy is the future of Australia, we’ve committed to our goals by purchasing this new property instead of simply renting.
This is a testament to our long-term commitment to our business, the demand for solar energy, and what we perceive as a solid basis for further expansion.
We strongly believe that the only way is up for renewable energy, especially solar, and we want to provide the best possible service to our clients at the most affordable rates.
Our new set-up
Our new warehouse is just around the corner from our old location, and we’re still only 10 minutes away from the heart of the CBD.
We are not afraid to put our money where our mouth is, and so we are currently installing a new 30Kw solar system on the roof. With the shocking increases in electricity prices recently, this new system will pay for itself soon enough, and will off-set our daytime running costs, reducing the bill to a service charge only.
It is for this same reason that people all over Australia are installing solar systems in their home, and it is estimated that in about a decade, half of all the homes in Australia will be self-sufficient in their energy usage.
Why we are investing in solar power
The past 12 months have seen a massive global expansion in renewable energy, particularly by China. Recently, an entire province there ran on renewable energy for an entire week, proving that it is possible.
At home in Australia, the price of large-scale solar has dropped by an astonishing 50% in recent years, allowing for enormous solar power plants like the one being built at the moment here in South Australia.
Although it’s not just as simple as solar is becoming cheaper; fossil fuels are becoming more expensive. Once the free market takes over, we will quickly see the end of traditional coal and oil power stations, as no company wants to invest in something that’s not making a profit.
Corporations and businesses will instead invest in renewable energy, adding to the research, development, and production of solar panels, bringing the price down even further, and increasing profits.
Don’t get left behind when it comes to solar
The demand for solar energy indicates that solar power is the future of electricity here in Australia.
The government knows this too, which is why they are investing heavily in renewables, building solar and wind farms all over the country at a cost of billions.
We have the highest concentration of solar radiation per square metre than any other continent, vastly exceeding Europe and North America.
Electricity prices are rising each year, and with the decline of fossil fuels and the rise of renewables, those prices are only going to get higher.
Take control of your own power supply by installing a solar system in your home. this way, the next time the government shuts off the power, you won’t be in the dark.
The sooner you make that switch and start providing your own power, the sooner you start saving.
